Sheriff's Office's School Resource Division Adds El Reno Public Schools

3/01/2024 - Canadian County Sheriff Chris West announced this week that his office has contracted with El Reno Public Schools for a School Resource Deputy, and that he is working with Riverside School District of El Reno to contract for a School Resource Deputy as well.  Both school districts applied for and were awarded state funded grant monies for these positions.  Earlier this month Sheriff West swore-in a new deputy for the new El Reno position, and his office is in the process of filling the Riverside slot. Canadian County Sheriff's Office offers Child ID Fingerprinting during Canadian County Fair

8/16/2023 - From Thursday, August 24th through Saturday August 26th the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office will be available at the Canadian County “Free Fair” Expo Center to assist families with completing child Identification and fingerprint cards.  These identification kits can be completed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on all three days at the Sheriff’s Office booth, just inside the main entrance to the Expo Center building.
