Major Bryan Dellinger has close to thirty years of experience and began his career in law enforcement in 1989 with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office as a Jailer. Nineteen of his years in law enforcement he has served with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office. Bryan attended the CLEET Basic Law Enforcement Academy in 1995 and has since achieved Intermediate and Advanced Peace Officer Certification levels through CLEET. He has attended over 3,400 hours of training. Throughout his career, Bryan has mainly worked in patrol, training and tactical units. He became a law enforcement trainer in 1997, specializing in law enforcement driver training.
Bryan has held the ranks of Jail Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant and most recently Patrol Lieutenant. As a Patrol Division Lieutenant, Bryan was assigned as a patrol shift Commander as well as Reserve Division Commander. He also served as the County’s Multi-Agency Special Operations Team Commander.
Sheriff West appointed Bryan to the rank of Major in October of 2019. He currently oversees the Civil, Juvenile and School Resource Divisions as well as the Office’s Fleet Maintenance.
Bryan Dellinger grew up and currently lives in Mustang Oklahoma with his wife, Catrina. He comes from a law enforcement family. His dad, Larry is a retired Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper and his brother, Clint is currently an Oklahoma City Police Detective.
